I would like to express my deepest thanks to everyone who reached out with emails, delicious food and gofundme.com donations after my nasty fall last month. The outpouring of support was overwhelming - a true expression of community that capped off my 85th birthday. The funds will allow me to heal fully and return to the store - hopefully in 6-8 weeks.

I haven't wept at all through this journey, but in the retelling of this marvelous swirl of goodwill and support from my community, I was filled with emotion. Thank you all once again for rallying around these old bones and providing me with the resources to return to my store. They say I'll be able to stand within weeks and I hope to be running around Rozzie Square in the months to come!
